Piano Books For Kids And Beginners
If you have signed up your child or children with me for piano lessons, whether private, online or on Skype, these are the piano books for kids I need you to purchase. These are only beginner books. You just need to purchase level 1 and 2, which will roughly take 6 – 12 months to complete, depending on the speed of learning.
Before I go to what is needed for each age group, please purchase music manuscript paper as well, as we are going to learn music theory. You just need to buy one of the two below. You also need something to keep the work in, like a folder.

It is not necessary to buy the whole set at once (there are more books after these) as I put the student on an individual program after these are completed.
Questions I get asked:
“My child is 7. should I get books for the 5 – 7 age group, or the 8 – 12 age group?”
My answer: It depends on your child. If your child is immature for his age, and struggles with learning, get the younger age group. If your child is mature for his/her age, and school is a breeze, get the older age group’s books.
“My child hasn’t got a piano. Where and how do I buy one?” The answer on how to buy a used piano for beginners is here. (Click on the link)
